PADI Basic Freediver Program
If you’re considering trying freediving at DEEPHUMANS but have only 3 days, or if you're unsure about continuing with the PADI Freediver course, why not start with the PADI Basic Freediver program?
This program is a significant step towards developing advanced freediving skills.
The PADI Basic Freediver program includes:
Prerequisites:
To enroll in the PADI Basic Freediver course, you must be 12 years old or older. You should have adequate swimming skills and good physical health. There are no requirements for experience with snorkeling, deep diving, or freediving.
Course Structure:
During our 2-day training, we start with a theoretical knowledge session covering fundamental freediving topics such as proper breathing, hyperventilation, equalization techniques, and rescue skills.
Following the theory, we prepare for confined water sessions where we practice static apnea, dynamic apnea, and how to handle a diver who faints in shallow water. We provide positive guidance to help students progress. Then, we focus on basic open water skills at a maximum depth of 5 meters, aiming to advance students to the next level.
At the end of the theoretical training, students who successfully complete the final exam of the PADI Basic Freediver course will be certified.
Our priority during the training is the safety and comfort of our students and ensuring a 100% effective learning experience.
If you wish to continue your freediving journey after the PADI Basic Freediver program, you can join our PADI Freediver course.
