The PADI Freediver course is the first step into the purest form of underwater exploration—freediving. This course is specifically designed for those with minimal or no prior experience in diving without scuba gear.
During the PADI Freediver training, you will learn appropriate breathing techniques, safety procedures, and effective finning techniques that will enable you to dive up to 16 meters, hold your breath for over 1.30 minutes, and cover a horizontal distance of 25 meters underwater, as well as respond to a diver who has lost consciousness.
Does this seem impossible to achieve in just a few days?
With the help of DEEPHUMANS' specially trained and experienced PADI Freediving Instructors, you will achieve this in a fun and relaxed manner.
Prerequisites
To enroll in the PADI Freediver course, you must be at least 15 years old. You should possess adequate swimming skills and be in good physical health.
Course Program
Our 3-day training consists of three parts: knowledge development, a confined water session, and two open water sessions.
In our training, you will learn all the essential information about freediving. The theoretical training covers all topics from scratch. Immediately after completing the theoretical part, you will practice static and dynamic apnea skills in the confined water session and learn how to assist a diver who has lost consciousness. During the two open water sessions, you will advance towards becoming an excellent diver by mastering effective equalization techniques, correct body positions, effective finning techniques, and responding to a diver in distress.
At the end of all sessions, students who successfully complete the final exam of the PADI Freediver training will be certified.
If you wish to continue your freediving journey after the Freediver program, you can join our PADI Advanced Freediver course.
